What Is Automotive
Reconditioning?
Automotive reconditioning is the specialized trade of restoring and improving vehicles cosmetically — correcting paint, refreshing interiors, repairing minor damage, and finishing vehicles so they look their best.
It's the work behind the scenes that prepares vehicles for dealerships, fleets, auctions, and everyday owners — a high-demand skill set with room to work, specialize, or build a business of your own.

Veteran Readiness and Employment, also known as Chapter 31 or VR&E, helps eligible veterans with service-connected disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain suitable employment.

Depending on an individual veteran's approved rehabilitation plan, VR&E may support training, supplies, and equipment. Support is subject to VA approval and the veteran's individual VR&E plan.
